Establish the facts.
What do we know? What supports the claim? What remains uncertain?

Current events & commentary with Ted Heims
A confident answer isn’t necessarily the right one—especially when an important question hasn’t been asked. Sense & Reason examines the facts, tests the arguments, and asks whether the proposed solutions actually make sense.
Across political, social, and economic issues, we bring overlooked points into the discussion so you can weigh the evidence and reach your own conclusion.
Ted Heims
If you’ve ever watched an interview and thought, “Why didn’t they ask this?” you already understand why I’m starting this show.
It happens all the time. Someone makes a claim, the conversation moves on, and the question that could get to the heart of the issue never gets asked. I find myself wanting to stop the interview and ask it myself.
That’s why I’m starting Sense & Reason. I want to have the discussion I keep waiting to hear.
I’m a legal analyst, and I bring a conservative perspective. You’ll know where I’m coming from. Agreement alone won’t settle the question.
Evidence. Track records. Consequences.
The show will stand or fall on its integrity.
I’ll approach the discussion as I do my legal work: research before reaching a conclusion, distinguish evidence from inference, and hold my own positions to scrutiny. I’ll identify the sources behind the analysis and correct mistakes when I make them.
What do we know? What supports the claim? What remains uncertain?
What was promised? What actually happened? What does the comparison leave out?
Who benefits? Who bears the cost? Does the proposal address the underlying problem?
Hear it for yourself.
The first episodes will appear here when Sense & Reason goes live.
